Dear OpenAPI SLA enthusiasts,
The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Quality of Service and Experience Domain Working Group (QoSE DWG) is currently discussing in ways to publish quality of service metadata in the context of the upcoming OGC API - Features standard and other future OGC Standards leveraging the OpenAPI Specification. This quality of service metadata would likely include things like service availability, expected response times, operational status, office/support hours, service maintenance windows etc.
We recently discovered your SLA4OAI initiative, which seems to share many of the aspects we are also interested in. The OGC does not want to re-invent the wheel, so it would be interesting for us to start discussions on how the ideas you have developed could be use within the OGC API context for providing information on the expected quality of service of future OGC Standard APIs.
The OGC QoSE DWG has its next meeting in Banff, Canada on Mon 9 September at 1:00 PM local time, and there is already a 15 minutes slot reserved for the SLA4OAI review. Would someone of the core developers of the SLA4OAI be able to make a quick presentation on the topic either remotely or in person?
